U petak 20. novembra s početkom u 17 sati počelo je 14. Pojedinačno otvoreno seniorsko muško i žensko prvenstvo Šahovskog saveza Federacije Bosne i Hercegovine. Na prvenstvu nastupa 41 takmičar. Mjesto odigravanja je Hotel “Lukavac” u Lukavcu, a prvenstvo će trajati do 23. novembra. Igra se 7. kola švicarskim sistemom parovanja. Glavni sudija je Šemsudin Čengić, a pomoćni mladi državni sudija Dino Marković iz Zenice. Direktor prvenstva je majstor FIDE Adnan Karahmetović iz Tuzle.
Na ovom prvenstvu nastupa 5 članova našeg kluba: velemajstor Emir Dizdarević, majstori FIDE Amir Hadžović i Muris Konjičanin, majstorski kandidat Muamer Mrnđić te mladi talentovani Nermin Haznadar (prvak FBiH do 16 godina za 2020. godinu).
U prvom kolu Nermin Haznadar je priredio prvorazredno iznenađenje savladavši drugog favorita prvenstva majstora FIDE Efima Muratovića koji uz veliko iskustvo ima čak 550 rejting poena više. Ostala četvorica igrača opravdali su ulogu favorita.
