Šahovski klub „Sarajevo“ organizuje Prvenstvo šahovskog kluba Sarajevo 2021 pod nazivom “7. Memorijal Ekrem Galijatović“ u spomen na dugogodišnjeg člana Predsjedništva šahovskog kluba „Sarajevo“ i uglednog sarajevskog advokata koji je smatran za najboljeg u oblasti privrednog prava.

Otvaranje prvenstva predviđeno je u nedjelju 30. maja u 9 sati i 45 minuta.

Finalni turnir će se igrati od 30. maja do 05. juna 2021. godine u prostorijama Kluba sa 10 igrača u 9 kola. Tempo igre je 90 minuta po igraču uz dodatak od 30 sekundi za svaki odigrani potez.
