U hotelu “Behar” u Goraždu je od 9-12. septembra odigran 14. Međunarodni šahovski turnir “Goražde 2021”. Igralo se švicarskim sistemom u 7 kola. Tempo igre je bio 90 minuta po igraču uz dodatak od po 30 sekundi za svaki odigrani potez. Nagradni fond bio je 2.650 KM. Direktor turnira bio je FIDE internacionalni organizator Bajro Obuća. Nastupilo je 29 igrača među kojima i 5 članova našeg Kluba.

Član našeg Kluba majstor FIDE Amir Hadžović sa 5.5 poena iz 7 partija osvojio je zasluženo prvo mjesto. Također, osvojio je novih 11 rejting poena na svjetskoj rang listi. Ostali naši članovi postigli su zapažene rezultate. Majstorski kandidat Suad Kurtćehajić je sa 4.5 poena (samo 1 poraz na turniru od Murisa Konjičanina) zauzeo 9. mjesto i ušao među nagrađene igrače, a osvojio je čak 19 novih rejting poena. Majstor FIDE Muris Konjičanin sa 4 poena je zauzeo 10. mjesto, a Mujo Manić sa 3.5 poena izvrsno 13. mjesto. Sa osvojena 3 poena Fuad Bavčić je zauzeo 20. mjesto.

Turnir je protekao u odličnoj organizaciji Šahovskog kluba Goražde.
